It’s been a busy summer at Daniela Works. Not only have we been completing jobs for our customers but we have also been rearranging the workshop to accommodate new machines – there will be an update on this shortly.
The biggest recent job has again involved using the horizontal borer, this time to carry out additional work on the cylinder block of the new G5 steam locomotive being built just round the corner from our works. The block had been cast a few years ago and now the G5 Locomotive Company wanted to finish preparing it for installation between the frames.
